So I have a big problem guys. I bought the Mud Terrain T/A KM2 tires in the 32x11.5r15 set up. Have maybe, MAYBE 2500 miles on these tires, and taken them out on 3 trips to the rocks. The first trip, got a flat. A stick punctured the shoulder of the tire. I was able to patch the tire up and keep going. Second trip, Big Bear, side wall puncture. That put me out for the rest of the weekend (dont trust the spare, which is also a KM2) First trip I ran 15 PSI, second I ran at 20. I could use some advise on what to do. I am dead in the water with 2 busted tires. I have been looking at switching the the Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar tires. Should I start over and get all new tires, or get 2 more KM2s with possibly the same results? What TP do you guys run when your off roading?

I'm biased I've never liked BFG, went on a limb and got km2's and they measure really small and I didn't think they just didn't seem very stout. I've got wranglers and love them they are extremely durable and last a good while. Not to mention way thicker sidewall.

Thats the way I am leaning. I just dont want to deal with the BFGs failing on me again. And 7 ply is better than 3 all day.

I have beat the snot out of my KM2's and never had a problem, i do have the load range E 255/85s, i don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have been wheeling on rocks, trees mud you name it. One suggestion, air your tires down more. 15 and 20 is pretty dang high, try going down to 10 or 12 that may help you not shred the side walls.

Ill try that man. Thats what my buddy airs down to. And thats what i have expected to get out of my KM2s. and that load range E defiantly helps man, much thicker side wall. I contacted BFG, and they are going to pay 50% of the replacement for my tires. Still had 19/32s left on those tires. I think they were just a defective set.

Load range E is the key, you shouldn't be hitting rocky trails with anything less IMO. You should consider buying your tires at discount tire and getting their road hazard warranty, I replaced two $400 tires with their warranty. If they ask just say you hit something on the highway and bam free tire replacement.

Load range E for the win. Haha, all my buddies said the same thing to me, should have gone with discount tire. I will definatly be doing business with them in the future. I wouldnt reccomend 4 wheel parts at all tho, horrible service for my truck. And staff that is ignorant and uneducated in what they sell.

You don't even have to do that, back in my jeeping days i brought my jeep in there covered in mud with a stick stuck in the tread and they replaced it. I got half of my KM2's for 80 bucks because they found internal cracking on my km's that i used to have on this truck. I wont buy my tires anywhere else.

Seen and heard of a number of people having sidewall puncture issues on on BFG tires. The new KO2 tires are supposed to have addressed those issues, and the KM3 or whatever they call it when they come out, is also supposed to have much tougher sidewalls.
