    Where is the rub?
I'm running 33.3" tires (255/85/16s) on a 3" lift and only have rubbed 3 times (at full lock I'll barely rub the bump on the mud flap if I bounce the front end pretty hard).

No. Unless you look at different backspacing and narrow tires. Say 255/85/16's. Even then you may rub the frame with the inside edge of the tread blocks. No biggie but rubbing all the same.

    This.

Why? Anyone who wheels hard with these tires will tell you they can rub. My 265/70/17's rub with a lift more then my 255/85/16's.

Nothing. It's typical. Whats wrong with your truck?

    Wheel harder

I'm getting really tired of saying this but here it goes again.... putting a lift on your truck does NOT change the size of the tire you can fit without rubbing unless you go LT or decrease up travel. Your lift is mearly taking your down travel away by forcing more pressure on the tires to gain the lift. It still has the SAME EXACT ability to stuff the tires, it just takes more pressure to do so.

Typical 3" Lifts DO NOT = bigger tires.

Are you talking about rubbing while flexing, or rubbing on-road? What are the specs of your wheels?

Go into a parking lot with a steep incline from the road at a decent speed. Witness a near full stuff. Your wheels will be turned into the rise as well. Of course you could be real careful not to compress your suspension in your lifted truck with huge oversized mud tires. :/
