I am thinking about buying some Bilstein 5100s for my Tacoma. I was planning on getting the adjustable shocks. I was wondering if the rear are adjustable also. I know the front are but not sure if the rear are. Does anybody have these and can help me out on this? Thanks!

well the front ones are adjustable because they are coilovers.. so the coil placement is adjustable on the shock . In the back.. its just the shock by it self and leaf beside it.

rears have no adjustment. fronts, as stated, are adjustable by how tight you set the coil on them. if you've had dirtbikes its like setting the "sag" or preload. these must be disassembled to adjust though

they are a well liked shock 'round these parts and i would highly recomend them. i am enjoying mine.

how much should I be expecting to send? Do I need all four shocks? Going from Stock, with just a little bit bigger tire. More importantly, can I install them myself with a few simple tools or how much is it to get them installed? Thanks fella's.

u don't have to get all 4 shocks but it all depends on which settin in front u want...stock shocks don't give a much of travel... u can do it urself but be prepared to spend few hours workin on getting the front (preloaded) in w/out taking a lot apart...

Thanks a lot Sctacoma4x4. I'm thinking I'll a technician with the appropriate tools. I'm looking for some now. I don't do anything off road per say but if these ride better I'd be much more apt to get them for better high-way ride and leveling purposes.

Hey buddy, have these helped accommodate a nicer ride on the highway for you too? I'm not lifting or doing anything other than I added an inch bigger tire to fill in the fender well a tad more. I want these if they make the ride more desirable. Thanks man.
