Blacked Out Dash Chrome

Trying to gauge interest in these. I know some have asked for it. I made these today and tested different installation methods. I would consider the install difficulty to be 5/10.

The only potential issue I see is the vinyl on the center console could be prone to damage through normal use of the cup holder/storage.

What do you all think? Should I list these?

They look good but my vinyl skills are on par with a monkey suffering from ADD, so I’d pass.

 

Great idea. But you're gonna need to have surgeon hands to get the alignment right to cover every bit of chrome. But the good news is, it's just a sticker... you can try again. MAybe include 2 sets
I painted all mine. And yes the cup holder area gets dinged the hell up

 

The cup holder and the steering wheel logo are the only chrome bits in/on the truck. I dislike them

 

Surprisingly, they are not difficult to line up over the chrome. The vinyl is applied via transfer tape so on the console you simply line up the forward edge and corners, press it down, then stretch the transfer tape down to the curved trailing edge, making minor side-to-side adjustments as needed. They are slightly larger so the edges can be tucked into the gaps between the chrome and black plastic for a clean look.

Oh, and if I offer it I will include 6 rings and two center console pieces!

 

I’d be interested would be nice to see a video of them being installed to see the difficulty.
