im swapping to longer brake lines in the process of doing so i ran into issues with the bent stock brake tubes leading from the caliper not separating from the brake line properly. the flange on the end of the brake tube seems to be mushrooming out because they were too tight from factory now im having to replace a piece of tubing in the front and everything in the rear. has anyone had problems with this in the past?

Sounds like a metric bubble flare to me.

One came off just fine the rest looked like they expanded. A actual mechanic looked at it and said they were garbage just to replace them is this common for brake lines to do this

I had the same problem with my front driver side brake line. The hardline seemed to be over flared, and the flare caught on the threads of the brake hose connection, and it made it difficult to separate. So I used a smaller box wrench to catch on the hex above the threads to ply the two a part, and with a lil force, I got it done and put the new braided line in.
