Am changing out my front brakes to the 4runner 14wa brakes and am upgrading to SS lines as well.

I bought the 2" extended length for my 2.5" lifted truck. I don't think they sell a shorter one.

Anyhow, looking at it with the wheel off, it looks like it may be a touch too long and possible rub?

Anyone have an opinion on this? should I source some stock length or think it will be ok?

    Thanks.

Extended brake lines aren't needed for the front, as you're not gaining any droop. Just changing the ride height. If the rubbing worries you, I would try and source some stock length ones. Or just keep an eye on it, maybe put some rubber fuel line over it to protect it.

Yeah you should be fine and have no problem staying with oem lines. SS are stronger but you could go for it since you already bought them. Worse case try to zip tie them out of the way if possible.

I have 3" extended SS lines up front. They don't rub. I'm sure they're overkill, but I have way more droop than I did with stock UCAs.
