Just got off the phone yet again. My truck is torn apart at Toyota. Toyota is still him hawin on the claim, they're sending a representative out to my truck now....wtf... it will probably be Monday or Tuesday before they get there.... Ugh Idk, but I'm gonna be pissed if they deny it, after having my truck all torn apart like this....

Anyways, I forgot I haven't really update this thread, a bad front oil seal has turned into bad cv diff bearing (expected), seized up. They want to replace the whole from diff, cvs and tie rods.

 

seems like nows the time to just SAS...

Hi, I read in another thread that the ride on your truck is smooth on road and great off road? Any other comments on the ride and how much did the kit cost you if I may ask?

WOOHOO my warranty claim denial got overturned!!! I am so stoked. How I got it, I can't really share... so sorry guys... LoL

I have mine set pretty high, above 2 inches they ride pretty stiff. I'm at 2.5" When I first set them up, I had less than 2 inches and they rode AWESOME but I rubbed with these tires. Off road, they're a dream, the faster you go, the smoother it is!

True! But I was playing with tone mapping on this photo, and I hate tone mapping my truck because it always blows out the red.

Its Roseville Toyota, but its not the dealership thats a retard. Its Corporate and their 'third party inspector'. The dealership has been EXTREMELY helpful in this.

 

Roseville Toyota has some veteran mechanics in the shop. Hopefully this crap gets settled soon. Gotta do another meets before winter kicks in.

Okay well I guess (coming from my friend up north again) its approved, just no one really knows about it, they paperwork hasn't made it to the net cubicle over or something haha. It will take time I hear.

 

So did you blow up your diff or did the bearing finally just get really bad?

I hate how they hide behind the lift thing. My truck made no noticeable noise pre-lift. First drive post lift i felt the vibe from the front diff at ~30mph.(I had 65k on the truck at time of lift install) I replaced the needle bearing myself and its gone. And i still have a lift. How can they deny that it wears on its own with out a lift?? Frustrating.
