build date to delivery ?

i have an allocation that is supposed to be built 8-5/8-11. how long after being built does it usually take to get to a dealership? say in the mid west.

 

Right now it seems like luck of the draw.

I've heard of people in the east/NE taking delivery 2-3 weeks after build. I'm in New Mexico and it was about 2 months. Built on 5/13, arrived at dealer 7/18. TRD OR Premium in Solar Octane. Non-hybrid.

 

From someone in your region who was doing on and off and then obsessive looking since first models shipped...

Once dealers said a vehicle was built it seems to have been days to almost 2 months. At times they said quality holds or waiting for accessories were delays. My situation is it had to be TRD OR and long bed. They did not arrive as fast as others. On a Monday AM my dealer said the pickup was in customs on the weekend and then shipping. Somehow it got from Mexico or California to WI in 3 days.

 

weird. yes i had to do obsessive looking also. was contacting 6 local dealers within 100 miles. realizing that wasnt going to work i used toyotas inventory locator found one in Michigan i wanted. but I had money down at local dealer. called local dealer and told them i would need my money back if they couldnt make a dealer trade or modify one they were getting. in some magic stroke of luck the dealer in Michigan traded their allocation for my dealers . so fingers crossed everything comes through.

 

Per my local dealer mine was build on 6/21. It got to the boat on 7/9. Currently it is on the rail as of 7/23. The current estimate is it will arrive at the dealership 8/2 to 8/15. The waiting is killing me! I WANT MY TRUCK!!!!!!

 

was your build date in the window they gave you? where are you located?

 

They never gave me a build date window. The dealer called me when they got the allocation in May and I put my deposit on it. I am in Oregon.

 

Mine was 7 weeks

 

Mine took 22 days from when Toyota issued the final VIN–which I believe is the build date. It was a long three weeks.

 

Build date 6/26--no ETA as of yet. All I was told was "its on the way" whatever that means

 

You should be able to 'track' it on the Toyota Search page. It gives an estimated delivery range date.

Mine was built on June 12th. Had it by July 3rd. California

 

weird that it is such a vast different time range..

 

Mine was built in May, delivered May 29.

 

My build date is 8/14 and my salesman said mid to late September..waiting for my Trailhunter. Northeast
