In NYC in the LE PARKER MERIDIEN Hotel (5 star place) there is this "Secret" burger place in this back skinny hall called "The Burger Joint". THe only way to know its there is for someone to tells you and you see the neon burger sign. Walk down the hall and turn right and you will be in the the place. Its very small in there and it looks like the cross between a storage closet and a 1970's basement. They make to order. THe menu is written with a a piece of cardboard with a sharpie. they only take cash also. By far the best thing i've ever eaten in my life. and thats saying something because I've been all over the world and ate at some great places. If you look at the wall on the left side of the grill there are like 200 different famous people's names that have written on the wall. The owner said when rich people stay the hotel thats when they find out about the restaurant. Try it you won't regret it!!

I gotta go with Five Guys. Never been to the West Coast so unfortunately I've never been to an In N' Out. After that I'd have to go with Hardees(not listed) and then Burger King. I hate McDonalds.

Given this list and the way the question is phrased, I'll pick Fuddruckers just ahead of Whataburger.
