I’m going to have to disagree with you. MOST hunters are conservationists and care deeply for the environment and have done more to help the environment than any politician or climate activist ever has. More wild land has been restored due to the efforts of hunting and fishing organizations than any other effort in the United States. Are there bad apples in the orchard? Absolutely, just like there are in the off road community. I’ve seen more road way clean ups performed by off road clubs in my state than any other organization. But to say that off roading and hunting is harmful to the environment is an incredibly ignorant statement.
Suburbs are harmful to the environment. The ever expanding metro areas are making things hotter, destroying wild land, displacing wildlife, creating droughts, and increasing pollution. Hunting does not do this, off roading does not do this. A vast majority of these groups want to conserve more than any other organizations.

The question is who among us is going to have a meet and go wheeling there for the apparently hard trail badge that it is

isn’t each ticket to go there a minimum of $500

    1st gen Tacoma is/was $7-10k / $150/mo

I agree...this boomer hatred of people at a music show in a desert enjoying life is cringe.

Are you saying there are reasons to pay $500+ to go?

I am no boomer nor alcoholic but after seeing a video of a sausagefest of degenerates bobbing to Target music played from a rickety platform

I’m not sure it’s worth the drive to discover a shirt made out of foil

maybe there is a good song next on the playlist
    I will look into this

You pay $500 for an aftermarket wheel for your spare tire.

Also, just don't go. I've ignored burning man my entire life. I barely know what it is. They're in a desert. What is it hurting you guys? It's not like they're fucking up the Costco parking lot.

as a note-- the goodwill company is also a 501c3 non-profit organization. those CEO's make an average of $500,000/yr--check your favorite sources online to verify, i shouldn't need to post links.

non-profit doesn't mean that people work for free. 501c3 non-profit status just simply means that the company is not publicly traded, there's no way to invest in them, and any money earned from any companies endeavor goes straight back into the company. it's easy to get around this 'profit' by simply 'hiring' anyone and paying them a 'salary'.

Exactly! I know a man who runs a very successful non-profit here in Georgia that helps the homeless, battered women, etc. Through his leadership, this organization helps so many people it is hard to imagine how they do it! But make no mistake, he is well compensated by the 501c3 for his efforts.
