Camper Pulling Question

    Ok I have a 2019 taco sr5 crew cab long bed 2wd v6 with factory tow package. After leasing the truck we are now looking at a coachman Catalina sbx261bh. Dry weight of 4,700 GVWR of 7,000(I will never load it anywhere near that weight) and a hitch weight of 541lbs. My truck max is 6,600lbs and hitch weight of 660. 29.3 feet long trailer.
    My question is anybody pulling a trailer like this pros and cons. I know my mpg will stink, but is this pushing the limit too much?

    Seems just a little large for the Tacoma . My camper is 2848 dry weight ,probably with all the gear and what not another 1000 pounds . I’m a V6 auto , access cab . With a tow package added pulls great but I don’t think I would want anything heavier and longer . Mines a hybrid 16’ closed ,24 opened .

    I used to haul a 23’ trailer with a ‘dry weight’ of 4300 lbs. Even with a WDH with sway control it was a bit more than I enjoyed towing. We ended up trading it for a smaller trailer with a 3100 lb ‘dry weight’ and it’s much more comfortable even without WDH and sway control.

    I’d say it also makes a difference where you live. I usually end up pulling mine through some mountains. If you live where it’s flat and never visit the mountains that can make a difference.
