    Did you put the relocation kit in yours? I played around with my iPhone, shooting photos through my old shell window, and it handled the darkened glass fine. The camera really won't be in the way of cargo since it'll be after of the tailgate.

    It's in the way. Interferes with one of my use-cases. I can't fit a boxed pinball machine in the bed with this camera mounted. It hangs down very noticeably as you can see here, getting in the way of loading all sorts of cargo as well.

    A proper external mount/pocket designed into the camper shell would be far preferable to this solution. Perhaps a second shark-fin or bubble on the roof of the shell.

    And this is why I opted for the suction cup mounts.
