Hi there, I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations on Camper shells for a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab. Something good that won't break the bank of course. Thanks for the inputs!

    Pretty much stock right now
Mine is an A.R.E. Mx series. It came on the 2000 silver Tacoma I had a while back. The bill of sale was for around 1,500 to the original owner. I did not bother to paint it to match by 2003. The little bit of extra headroom really makes a difference.

No matter what the brand, look for a used one. There is not much that can go wrong with them, other than warn out pistons that hold up the rear window. I found replacements on eBay which were the same brand as the ones that were on it for a reasonable amount.

depends on your use. they make cab-high or taller, with or without rack systems, etc.

every brand makes one for our trucks: ARE, Snugtop, Century, Leer, etc

decide which style you want and start looking, best way to get more ideas too :)
