Changing Idler Pulleys question

Trucks sitting a hair under 150K. Currently got all pulleys off. Found some great info here on the forum for installation. One question in regards to a pulley I received from Rock Auto.



There's a back washer piece that isn't on original A/C compressor idler. Wondering if this is meant to be installed as well, on left? Which I assume it is.

I believe it is. I had a similar piece on mine that I replaced a few months ago. When you took off the pulley, there should have been a similar piece. I used a Toyota Pulley though. This is what mine looked like when it took a shit. That black piece is what I had. It was essentially a dust cover for the back side of the pulley (bearing). I originally wanted to just buy and press in a new bearing, but Toyota had the whole pulley available that day so I bit the bullet.

Hi my oem’s did not have the back washer. Just bolt and front washer. I did all 3 in 1 hr without removing the belt which I read is a bitch to put back on.
Removed both alternator and power steering uppers from the top and the AC compressor from the bottom.
If you doing one mights as well hit all 3.
