Clock flashing

Hi,

Long time lurker, first time poster.
Great forum. I have learned a lot here over the past year or so.

Question...

Yesterday I reset the clock in my truck.

The little ":" symbol between the hours & minutes flashes continually.
I didn't take notice before changing the time whether it always flashed or not.

Is the ":" supposed to continually flash, or did I do something wrong??
Seems odd to have it flash all the time after being set.
