    Hi,

I have been searching for the past few days for any information regarding my dealer installed code alarm. I haven't been able to find any information on the code alarm but tons of info on the VIP. I was wondering if anyone has or knows someone who has the dealer installed code alarm? Do you know which model it is?

My arm honk has stopped working for some reason, the system does arm as it should and flashes the lights but does not honk.

    Thanks!

Sorry guys its an 07 V6 Prerunner Access Cab. I am out of my home state and won't be near a dealer for a few weeks. I called them and they said they could fix it in 10 minutes but would not tell me how. When I purchased the truck I did not receive any documentation on the alarm.

    Thanks again,
    Dave

I found an alarm module in my 2007 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4 V6 with the name on it of “Code Alarm”. The problem is that the alarm goes off all the time, even from cars and trucks that go by at a distance. I looked for a way to adjust it and I can’t find a shock sensor and there is no adjustment on the module. This module does have a cover in the center on one side with 3 fuses under it. I found a date tag 09/08/06 and wiring diagram and a tag with a bar code on the other side from the cover. At the end one plug with 24 inputs is plugged in and marked main harness. There is a tag with a bar code named “ Code Systems, Inc. 103028-9 and 102059-3-CPLMM ” I Googled it and found CPL Remote Security System Owner's Manual and installation instructions. The installation instructions do have programing information for the alarm module. I hope this helps someone.

Hey 99TG, funny man, I’ve had the same problem for the last couple months I thought it may be parasitic drain. I just got under my pedals and found the same device, got the manual online, and now checked the model in TW and here i am, one month after you!

well did you get the issue resolved of the alarm going off randomly when the car is locked? If so, what did you do?

I was gonna try and yank it out, but holy F does this device tap into a lot of wire for lights and stuff, not really an issue, just super annoying looking…. Plus I actually like the ignition lock feature, would prefer to fix it if possible

Code Alarm Manual Install Manual, CPLMM_IM.PDF section C. Programming Selectable Options worked for Adjusting Lite-Touch Sensitivity: it stopped my alarm going off randomly.
