    Leveling kit
I have added a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2007 Double Cab Tacoma. I still do not have enough space to add tires larger than stock 265's. I was advised to add a coil kit and I would gain another 1/2 inch. This would allow more space for larger tires. Any input would be appreciated.

    A few bolts are different.
Do not add lift coils to your spacer lift. If I'm thinking correctly, maybe not it's early, Coils plus the leveling kit will net you a lift greater than 3". There are many reasons that will not be good.

If you actually have a 2.5" lift kit, then you should be able to run a 285/75R16 with minimal to no trimming needed.

If you have installed the 2.5" leveling kit correctly you will have the clearance needed to run a 285/75/16 with minimal issues. Too many people have done it, what type/brand kit did you use?
