I've got a 4x4 offroad with only 7000 miles that I bought new and it's been great. I've taken it out on the trails a few times already and I've had no problems.

This last weekend while out on a mild trail I decided to play with the Craw Control just so test it out.

I stopped and put it in neutral, put it in 4low and turned on the craw control and set it to the third setting. I then put it in drive and took my foot off the brake. The truck started to move forward but would also make a bunch of noise in the front end and some of the dash lights would flash. It sounds kind of like grinding and the movement forward was very jerky and I could feel some shaking in the floor boards.

I stopped and turned everything off and put it back into 4 high and she drove great for the rest of the trip.

Have any of you guy's ran into this same problem or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for any advice.

Sounds normal (aside for the flashing lights)

The crawl control makes loud noises as is automatically pumps the breaks and whatnot

Ok, thats good to know. It kinda freaked me out and my wife was really freaked out.

I think one of the lights that flashed was the limited slap. I'll have to do it again to see that the other one was and make sure I'm remembering right.
