Cub Cadet not turning

Any lawnmower mechanics out there? My Cub Cadet i1042 Zero turn tractor isn't working right. When I turn right far enough to activate the zero turn feature, it limps around the corner but when I turn left it works fine. Every now and the after a right turn the forward speed is reduced so I will hit reverse and then the forward speed is fine. Sometimes coming out of a right turn I can feel the steering bind. All the belts have been checked and the front steering linkage is greased and not the binding issue. I have checked both rear brakes and they seem to be working fine and not frozen. I think it is in the drive linkage to each rear hydraulic motor. This linkage is triggered after a certain amount of input from the steering. Such a great mower hate to loose it and no reputable shops around here that want to sell me a rear hydraulic motor that it doesn't need. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is there any fluid loss from the hydro units? I'm not familiar with cub cadet rider-zero turns, but am a certified tech for exmark and Dixon ZTR and most familiar with their hydro systems. Exmark mowers (typically) have a pump and drive motor, are these just a single unit? If it is, which is probably a hydro gear brand unit, they are typically throw away hydros because the labor for teardown is too much.

 

The reason that no one answered or replied to you may be that you made it very clear that you didn't want to hear that it had a bad hydro... Everything you describe....to me...points to a bad hydro.

 

Is there an adjustment to each steering valve on the pump? Typically there is to keep it trimmed going straight.

Did you mess with these adjustments at all... even before things got bad?
