Does anyone have blueprints or 3D models for a front and rear bumpers? I work at a metal manufacturing facility and have access to all the required tools and machinery. Just don’t want to invest too much into drawing it off if it’s available already.
I found one website offering the drawings for a semi-decent price. But as I am on a budget and metal is high as heck right now.

    Pic for attention.

I actually doubt it. I’ve accumulated enough material for my overland rack from scrap. And if all I need to do is buy material, I’m good to go.

I’ve got front bumper blue prints I’ll try to dig them up this weekend when I get home from work. If I find them and you are interested I can dm you for your address. I’m kind of a computer idiot and don’t know how to upload the files to you.

Definitely not cheaper to buy one, even with the cost of steel being sky high. I built mine for under $600 including consumables (abrasive saw blades, grinder wheels, belt sander paper), granted at steel prices from 10 years ago.

I have a plasma now, then I used a worm drive Skilsaw, pain in the assE38FBBBB-3AF6-46C3-90D1-13B59242FCE6.jpg

The advice I always read is just make a pattern out of cardboard. I just built mine by going piece by piece, literally cutting them out a piece at a time.

It does help I’m a carpenter so I have good geometry skills75EEA8BA-F0D9-40AF-A08B-E004E4321B94.jpg

True. I was just hoping for some DXF or solid works files that I can drop in our cutting program. I can get material at cost and we have tons of scrap and drops.
Even if it’s not what I’m wanting, I can use the base to modify it to my liking.

here’s some pictures of the bumper after it was tached up. The actual blueprints are in my dirt bike manual at home haha.

I think @Taco critter just had to tell his wife it was cheaper for him to buy one so he could get what he wanted

I've got all the cad files for my front bumper. 3D and DXF for cut, I just need to dig them up. You're funny guy though. Doesn't want to spend the hours it takes to come up with a design yet doesn't have money lol!!!
I'm very busy right now though. DM and I'll send them to you for a couple cases of beer.

To someone's point above, I'd never make another bumper. It was fun, I was working in a fab shop so had the resources, but now my time is not worth the amount of time it takes to make one lol.

Looks good! I’d probably try to trim it down. Don’t want to add much more weight to the front till I change my lift.

If you are going to slim it down a little bit you will probably be better off just making one out of cardboard honestly. Especially since you’ve got a 01+ and mine are for a 95.5-97. Unless you want to cut your frame horns off and weld a plate on the end. (I think). I’ve been out of the first gen stuff for a little while now so it’s all a little foggy about the differences in them.
