Custom Emblems

Miller, I have a friend looking for an Arizona Cardinal for his Tundra. Can you send me a draft of what it will look like?

 

Well I got mine today and painted... Put it on and it looks good. However, I'm undecided if I want to keep it color or just paint it with chrome spraypaint. Any ideas? I'll post a better pic tomorrow this one was with a flashlight tonight .

Still need to see about putting something black behind it to cover up the back of the oem emblem but that shouldn't be too hard.

So what do you guys think... Colored or Chrome?

 

You can pop out the oem emblem from the back. just a couple of tabs.

 

The emblem is out, but the backing looks just like it lol

 

Black it out or tear it out or do what someone else did and put a piece of aluminum behind there painted black.

So any suggestions if I should leave it painted in color or just paint it chrome?

 

Not a fan of the brushed look to your color. I would just sand it down super smooth and spray it with a chrome like spray paint and dremel out the area behind it.

 

I have been finishing the steel on mine with a grinderand a backing pad w/ scotch brite finishing discs. Then hit the hard to get at areas with a Dremel and a precision file kit. Now I am looking to find a place to chrome it. Not easy in a small town,
Rather not paint. Chrome would require almost zero maintenance.

Nice work on the emblems guys! I'm hopin to get some free time soon to do some more drawings. But if any of you see something you like, I save all of my files for later use so I can cut those out relatively quick.

 

Redone in chrome... looks way better now.

Wow! Before & after pic's are like night & day. I can tell you put a lot of work into it... can't wait to see it chromed & installed.

 

i'm interested i maybe doing this in the future...but i have a question if you have time would you even be able to do one of these two logos? i'm not sure which i like more, kinda leaning toward the first one, but not sure if you could even do that...thanks
