    Ok so after changing my torn cv boot i ended up stripping the cv end where the nut goes on (about 1/4 of an inch) does anybody know the thread pattern/ size i need to re-thread it with a die

    Might try a thread file, that's a pretty big die. Toyota tends to use 1.25 metric threads, not sure on that one though.
