So I was testing out the DAC in my truck today since I have never really used it since getting the truck last year. When using it, it makes a banging sound like someone is taking a hammer to the fenders almost. In the video you can sort of hear it but it doesn't sound nearly as bad as it does in person. Is this how it is supposed to sound? Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Completely Normal. I have had 3 tacos with Hac and Dac and all 3 made the exact same noises. It's the ABS kicking and making all that noise.

    Bloody 3-letter codes.
Talking about "DAC" and "Sound" and the first thing that comes to mind is a Digital to Analog Converter -- a chip used to convert digital audio into analog to feed to an amplifier and speakers.
Took a bit to realize the meaning here was Downhill Assist Control.
