    Actually I just did a search about it and I guess the 2nd gen Tacomas have 1GRFE with VVT-i, and the 4runners have Dual VVT-i

    This is what I was looking at, guess the dual VVT started partway through 09 for the T4R and the Tacomas never went with dual, and if I’m reading this right even the 3rd gens 2gr isn’t dual, even though there are dual vvt-i versions of the 2gr....wonder why? Wonder if it really matters.
