Dash Rattle: I have an 08 Prerunner V-6. After 61,000 miles and 6 years of service, the only issue I have is a rattle my dash. I can hold onto the dash just above the speedo and it will stop the rattle. I can grab hold of the dash and move it about 1/8 of an inch back and forth (windshield to steering wheel). Can anyone tell me where and what to tighten to stop this annoying rattle? Many thanks in advance............MM

This may be a bit late but I've had so much help with my truck on TW that I feel obligated to share a good solution:

I used 1/2" concrete backer rod, its a tubular foam product used for filling deep cracks in concrete before applying polyurethane filler. It's sold in precut lengths and by the foot some places, major box stores carry it. Anyways I had some leftover from my driveway project and stuffed it into the gap along dash/windshield and by the doors and dash next to weatherstripping. Used a 3in putty knife to wedge it in there and you can't even see it. Cheap and removable. Hope it helps
