DDM Tuning HID

I re-edited my post so it was less confusing, Guess I was doing that while you were posting. 4000k's came in my other car and they just weren't white enough so I was gonna go a little higher with these.

 

option 3, 55w kit will washout the color of any temp above 6k, so if you want matching heads / fogs option 3 is your best bet for white with a slight tint of blue, if you want purwhite go with option2

 

i just got the kit from ddm tunning and on the back of the bulb itself it says 35w but the ballasts say 55w. Is this the way it is supposed to be or they sent me the wrong parts? I ordered 55w.

nevermind, as long as the ballast is 55w it will be fine...

But when i unplug the stock bulbs i end up with two h4 connectors and the hid kit only comes with one which is attached to the control line...am i missing something of does it give enough juice for both headlights? But if it works for both headlights it would mean that i will have one stock h4 connector hanging and it would not be plugged to anything, that doesn't sound right... can anyone shine some light on this matter please?

 

how do you put back the black rubber seal behind the headlight, or do you reinstall it at all? the metal shield and hid bulb body are to fat for the hole of the rubber seal...

 

The passenger side H4 plug will not be used. You only need to feed the power to one side (drivers side)


Just make sure you cap that brown H4 plug off from your factory wiring with some good electrical tap

 

Feed the wires through the headlight side of the rubber boot, then pop it back towards your cab so that it can accommodate the bulge.

 

Has anyone tried to see if a group by could get us some decent prices on HIDs?

 

DDM prices are pretty rock bottom already and i asked about a group buy but nada

 

Just over $100 shipped for the headlight and fog hid kits seems pretty descent to me.

 

search up slimcubby HID group buy. its not going on now but has in the past and most likely there will be another one

for 320 sweet deal considering two kits are 55ws and i have two sets of extra bulbs for headlighst for any reason they go out, slimchubby group buy is also good but i believe its only a 1year warranty while ddm is lifetime

Do you guys using the DDM Tuning Raptor kits experience the regular short flicker for a few seconds when switching on your HIDS?

the flicker is on all hid kits, since the bulbs contain a gas not a filament.

35w H4 bixenon (hi/lo) 4500k... I hope the install goes quick and easy... It looks simple enough!

 

yeah its pretty easy

 

install is cake, i recommend removing the battery tie downs and move the battery to the side a bit, and also removing the wiper fluid it allows better access to install the bulbs, also install the bulb shields 1st then slide and lock the actual bulbs into place.

i currently have the 35w kit, but my 55w should be in on wednesday! i drive alot of rural areas and need the extra light
