what is the best way to go about de-badging my tacoma?

^pretty much. speaking from experience though, if you could find fishing line or something as durable, i would use that as the floss i had was crap and barely got through one letter before it broke.

if you plan on sticking anything back on, i'd also recommend painter's tape to keep the new additions level.

 

I used a heat gun and fishing line. My drivers side door was a complete pain in the ass to get off. All the rest came off easy. After removal I used

Turtle Wax T-529 Label & Sticker Remover - 10 Fl Oz.

Turtle Wax Adhesive Remover which worked perfectly. Took some time and multiple shots of the remover but left no residue behind.
