Would like to delete some old presets. How is this done? Tried pressing the preset and holding. No option to delete. Just want to clean up unused presets.

    Thanks

You supposedly can't from what I've read online.

I would like to know if anyone has found a way, however. As of now I set old presets with the same SiriusXM channel to get "rid" of the old ones.

if you select a new station and hold your finger over the preset that you want it to go, it will change it, do it on mine all the time for new channels. but not have been able to delete either only change to new ones

Not sure of your model year. This is from 2016 Owners Manual...

Does not appear that you can delete presets, but you can reduce the number of presets from waaaaay too many to a more manageable number (which is what I ended up doing). Good luck...

Does anyone know how to delete text and phone conversations when using the Bluetooth system? This is on a 2016 SR5. Thanks for your help in advance.

Does the owners manual not cover this stuff?

    Serious question.

I haven't been able to find it. A person needs a collage degree to read and understand the owners manual

First of all, you can reduce the number of presets to a minimum of 6. Then, overwrite the ones you don't want with new ones. (You just tune to the new station and hold down the preset until the change "takes.")

You can use this same technique to reorder the presets. The presets can be duplicated.

I only have 3 stations that I want to have preset. So, on my 6 presets, I have those 3 each set twice.

Looks like the information that you seek is contained in the 2016 Toyota Tacoma Owners Manual, pages 345 through 353. The instructions seem pretty straight forward, but you may have to play around with it...

Thanks for the replies. Interesting that there is no way to simply delete or clear a preset without having to reduce the total numbers of presets.

Btw the truck in question is a 2017 model.
