All else equal, I'd swap my 3.6 for the 4.0 at the drop of a hat, and kick in 3K to boot..

2020 SR5 4x2 2.7L Auto. Just changed my rear diff today at 36k miles. Easy and fun little DYI.
Bought 4qts Valvoline 75w90 squeeze bags and got concerned that after 3 qts it seemed it was already right at full.

Stupid me, went ahead and squeezed the 4th bag in and basically just let it overflow into my drain pan.... THEN I read the owners manual re: capacity - doh! Looks like I only require 3 qts. Live and learn.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
Severely inconclusive and comes up every third Friday of months that end in 'y'.

Yep, found the synchro in one of the Toyota TC's . This is for the ones with the 4wd actuator that has 2 shafts. Couldn't find one for mine which has the actuator with a single shaft but assume its similar.

go to 5:30 in video. Good look at design and function as well

Guy does so many great instructional video's just about everything automotive.. Watch 6 of them just on design and proper installation of u joints and how to set axial play using different thickness snap rings. Didn't even know you were supposed to do that. One set of u joints for a previous car only came with one set of snap rings and thought you just used what they came with,.Will be something else i can use my digital dial indicator when its time to replace them.
