Disable DRL

Cut the green w/red stripe wire on the drl relay harness and cap off wire ends done

 

Where is the relay harness?

 

No hate intended, but why?

You don't see the DRL when driving
Daylight is not affected by DRL
Lights are required after sunset so no change there.
Good safety feature, especially on single lane highways.

I never cared for DRL; I detest the Amber lighting; and I prefer control over my lighting. I personally don't 100% agree that DRL actually reduce accidents in the day. IMO if a individual needs lights on during natural daylight, they don't need to be behind the wheel. Just my 2 cents.

 

I love DRL's and my insurance company even gives a slight discount for having them on my vehicle.

 

DRL is not so that I can see others but so that others can see me.

I don' mind the led DRL. My IS350 got the Nike check which is sweet. I'm good with a LED strip. I just personally think non led self are ugly. I do see some headlights with led strips I may consider as a option.

 

I just disable the DTRLs.
