Discontinue Jdm Mirrors

I finally Got my hands of these Mirrors, there super Hard to find! These came all the way in Japan. But luckily someone here in Washington had a Few sets!

These (00 4runner mirrors) are going to look amazing on my Mini toyota tacoma

@Kleenax please let me know how your install goes, I bought this custom wiring made by @drewmox from this thread that would assist with the wiring if I proceed with the JDM mirror mod. I was just thinking outside the box for another way of installing everything without the cost of the additional controller.

Yea, I haven't even started the install yet.
Just figured in my head that I'd "splice" the turn-signals on the sides of the mirrors into that present (parking/turn-signal) circuit, and the "puddle lights" into the dome light cause I like how it comes on when you unlock the truck and goes out automatically when you start the truck. Shouldn't be too difficult, and it doesn't seem like it would require any relays since they're LED and won't draw much power at all. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I also bought some "heating elements" to install inside of the mirrors too for de-fogging/defrosting, but those will need to have a timer or thermostat or something like that in the circuit. I am going to pick-up another set of OEM (power) mirrors for my truck to put all of this in so I don't have to have my truck sitting there with no mirrors on it while I pre-install all of this crap. Then I have the ARB front bumper to install (and maybe a rear plate bumper too), and the roof rack, and the spot lights, new skid plates.......... my summer is booked! ;-) Oh, and did I mention the CB radio and new double-DIN stereo?

I went ahead and ordered these since my previous paint job over my mirrors were degrading, the recent ice storm really excelled the clear coat peeling.

 

Got the last set of silver ones! No idea on when I will get them put on tho.
