Thats a good deal for the frame replacement. I have found southdadetoyota.com seems to have the best OEM prices I have seen from a dealership and the have schematics of all areas broken down with clickable links of the blueprints.

I'd double check the one you've got linked, it says that it's not for trucks with IFS. It's doable if you're doing a solid axle swap but it sounds like you're staying stock on the suspension. This one says it will work with IFS:

Have fun! I wonder if it would be worth looking into getting the frame hot dip galvanized after you weld on the reinforcements.

There’s a place that does that locally, I’m going to call for a quote. I may be misreading but the kit you linked is for mounting an ifs steering box once you convert to SAS, and the one I posted doesn’t include the steering box (that I don’t need) but must be trimmed for an ifs setup.

It might have something to do with the size of the photo file you’re uploading. Downsize the next one and see what happens.

Very nice. I'm preparing to do the same on my 2002 double cab. Cab removal makes me nervous since I don't have a lift. Your method looks good. Would you say its going smoothly or is it a PITA? Im assuming you had to disconnect all the stuff like main wire harness, brake cylinder, heater, AC, etc just the same as if cab were taken off with a lift.

It’s going smoothly other than only about 1 in 3 bolts don’t either have their heads break off or need to be cut off, and I’ve had to cut my hard brake lines.
The cab supports are currently in the way of rolling the chassis out, I’m trying to figure out what to use as cross beam support to widen them. 4x4 lumber? IDK.

I pulled the AC compressor to avoid having to lose my Freon, but I couldn’t move it out of the way without removing the power steering pump, which I had not anticipated.

I bought a Milwaukee 18V impact wrench for this project and I’m not sure how I survived 47 years without one.
Impact wrench will make this so much easier, it’s worth the money.

When I did mine I used 3x3 steal beam spread way out on tree rounds. Make sure you have it high enough to get the front coil buckets out under the cab. Are you leaving the motor in the cab?

Also you need a lot of jackstands. And wood blocks.

Nice. The motor is rolling out in the chassis.
