Do I need spacers?

    I have a 2005 taco and i just bought rims (17/9) and im putting tires 265/70/17 on them do i need spacers for the rims to fit? also those tires are the biggest i can go without a lift?

    Those are the biggest tires you can run without a lift, or a lot of cutting. With a rim that size, you'll probably still run depending on the offset. Spacers will make the rubbing worse if anything.

    Ok so i should be ok with the width of that rim and the width of the tire without using any spacers?

    That's correct.

    People generally run spacers to make their wheels stick out further for a tougher look. Creating unnecessary stress on parts such as wheel bearings. Avoid spacers if possible ;)
