Engine block heater question

    So I'm moving to Anchorage in February. I bought an engine block heater and an oil pan heater. My question is is it possible to splice the two together into one plug? This way I have one plug up front and only have to plug it in for both components. Thanks for any input. Here is a drawing that I'm sure a 5 year old could've done better to "help" out.tw.jpg

    You could seal it up using some dielectric grease. For good measure there should probably be a circuit breaker or fuse in there somewhere.
