I am trying to setup an Entune account. I have done some googling and apparently some trucks don't have that function, however, I have the apps button on my SR5 as well as when I click apps, it says visit Entune to learn about navigation apps.

Could it not be recognizing the vin due to the truck being so new?

Depends on your audio system. If your SR5 is like mine then you proabably have entune audio plus not entune premium in which case you don't need an entune account and the only supported app not already installed is scoutGPS link. You install that on your phone and it will give you directions but no map like a navigation device would.
