Does anyone know how to clear the evap system drive cycle? I’m trying to pass emissions and it won’t complete. I have a permanent o2 sensor code so I am using the oxygen system as my 1 incomplete drive cycle that I am allowed to have in my state.

You didn't post your vehicle information but this is for an 06, I'd imagine other years are similar.

My bad it’s a 2014 v6 4l automatic. So judging from that pdf I just need to read the readiness before turning on the ignition tommorow morning?

I think that part is just for a technician to verify the drive cycle after a repair but it will not run unless the other conditions are met.

It might not run the evap monitor if there a known oxygen sensor fault. For example the evap system might use the oxygen sensors to monitor purge flow. If it commands the purge valve to open it expects to see the oxygen sensors trend rich when the extra fuel vapor enters the intake air stream.

It needs a oxygen sensor reading it can trust in order to monitor the evap system, it will hold off running the evap monitor until enough drive cycles occur where the o2 sensor activity looks normal (like the problem goes away on its own or you replace the sensor(s)and reset the system)
