Personally I agree with you.

But ... look at the future. 5 years from now, this will be the new Skyrim with its mod community and its building ability, and the new gold standard. That's a bonus for us gamers!

Yeah, I'm not complaining by any means. I simply meant that I would of liked this update to come with maybe a half dozen minor quests too. Then I would be more excited.

 

You guys meet an Assualtron Gorgon yet ?

 

I think so. They go nuclear like a Sentry Bot right? I think I faced one but I had one of my own Sentry Bot/Assaultron Hybrids with me and they fought to a draw.

 

Yeah but I think a bunch of the new Assaultron variants do , I think there are a half dozen variants , the Gorgon is the most dangerous , I got killed 3 times in a row by one during one of the DLC missions

I've been neglecting my settlements for a couple weeks now , all I do is stop in to drop off junk , buy ammo and collect caps

 

I'll get to 100 with the new DLC probably. Just building the settlements.

 

Honestly I've had a hard time getting back into the game since my first play through. Haven't even turned on the console since automatron update.

Huh, I didnt realize the settlement extended to the highway. Interesting.

I found that X-01 in the Hagen Hanger, I must have blown by it the first time through.

I upgraded the Tesla Rifle, still not too impressed by it.
It is really limited, all you can mod is the scope (2 choices) or the barrel (5 choices).

 

I totally shutdown the Jamaica Plains one (I think that was the name).
Thanks Bethesda, for this dumbass settlement in the middle a paved town, with this tiny stretch of dirt to plant in.
And those retards at that multi story house on the coast, where they fall off the beach cliff and get trapped or die unless you fence the stupid place up.

I havent done anything fancy with the settlements, just the essentials and defense. No trade routes set up, etc.

I did get that Minuteman stronghold up to max defense. Kind of bummed I couldnt add more.

 

I dont think I have seen a Gorgon yet.
The toughest was a tankbot on the Rogue Robot mission. It too a bunch of Gauss shots.
OTOH I need to pay attention more. But I dont recall any Assaultrons with skulls.

Agreed. I need to carve out some time just to redo a lot of my Settlements. I've only really worked on Sanctuary, Castle, and Island.

 

At Jamaica Plains that whole courtyard area is dirt and if you do it right you can build up and on top of the ruined building in the centre

I have 23 settlers there

 

There's a max defense? I had the Fort up over 400 last time I went through

 

I will go look, I know I was putting in Heavy turrets and it said I had hit a limit.
