Could you keep an eye out for Prisoner Share when you are at HW? I would love a backup.

23B wasn’t a bad pour at all, it’s just not 100% the traditional Stagg profile. A lot more fruit on the palate than your average Stagg, which some people don’t like or don’t like in that label.

The HW prisoner’s share is typically a November release. Rumor is, last year’s may have been the last release, we’ll see.

Your timing for the MWND should be good though if you like that bottle. The gift shop also had Bourye last time I was there, and a lot of it. Plus some different cask strength distiller selects. If nothing else you can try anything you want at the bar. Food is great, all the red meat is bison.

    Happy FRYday.
I really enjoyed my first Bourye- Obtainium-. So when I saw the Knob Creek Bourye, I wanted it. Yesterday I grabbed a fresh Obtainium. I decided to see which I liked better.
Proof wise, they were super close. On the nose, both smelled damn near the same. Mild carmel and spice. Taste wise, I really enjoyed them both. Lots of similarities, obviously. Both are great, mild and spicy upfront and a sweet finish. I think the rye came through a bit more on the Knob Creek. I’m not the best reviewer by any means, but both are solid pours. Now I have to find a High West Bourye. Cheers.

111⁰ in Orange County, CA today. I think every city in the county shattered records. That being said I'm doing Evan Williams & Coke 0 on ice. I need something cold to chug! 10pm as of now and still 86⁰ :bananadead:

That’s the nice thing about New Mexico - gets warm but with the elevation, you do get relief once the sun starts to set. Was 84 as a high yesterday and as I type, it’s 57* at 7am. Summer temps are higher of course, but we still get that 25* swing at night.

Hope it cools off soon for you! 111* in September….bleh!

Pretty cool morning. Got to buy the barrel my bourbon came from. Have been wanting to make a little barrel liquor cabinet for a while now.
