Hi, I’ve always had large full size trucks for the hauling and towing I’ve needed to do, currently in a 16 Ram Sport 4x4 Hemi 6.5’ bed. I’ve always liked and wanted a Tacoma and said if it ever made sense I’d buy one. Well, my lifestyle and interests have changed enough over the years I’m finally ready to make the swap. I’m currently getting ready to go through moving and as soon as that is done I’m going to pick one up.

I’m going to use that time to learn as much about them and the pros and cons of each variation as I can until then. I’ve already been lurking here and learned a lot. I’m set on a 3rd gen and currently heavily leaning between a TRD Sport or TRD OR as there are things I like better about each one.

I test drove a 2021 OR yesterday and absolutely loved it but haven’t found a Sport to try yet.

Anyway, just thought I’d introduce myself and look forward to being a part of the community!

I absolutely love them. It’s my third and imo they’re hard to beat if you want a powerful 1/2 ton that has look that kill. I will say I don’t care for the new body style. Imo it and Tundra have been the best full size trucks out there the past several years.
