I've always wanted a tacoma but was kinda hard to find one for a good price around here. Well my grandad had a 2010 tacoma sr5 v6 4 door that he just payed off and dint want it any more and sold it to me for $12,000 with only 57,000 miles. So I'm a happy owner of a newer tacoma. Now time for some upgrades. (Pics soon)

Congrats! save that money and put it towards suspension and trail equipment. Even with that supercharger you will still be outran by a Pinto in reverse. This truck is meant for going off road, now go do it!

It's 2wd so not sure on off road capability. But it's quick for a truck.

With a locker that truck will go a lot of places off road! The tacoma is not a "Race Truck" It will never be "Fast". I know lots of folks on here have supercharged or turbo the tacoma, but it will never be a fast truck. It was never purpose built for racing, except for the possibility of Baja style. So use your cash for off road gear or keep it in your pocket. If you are trying to race the damn thing, please sell it to someone who will use it for what it was intended for or you will just wind up breaking a lot of shit. Just my .02 for what its worth...

Why add the supercharger to a DD? If you say its quick for a truck, why add more power for just a DD? Wasting cash to me...

The hell you plan on pulling? A Navy warship? The tacoma will pull its max weight just fine...Sorry if I sound like a buzzkiller, but I am just trying to help a fellow member from wasting cash...If you got the cash to just throw out the window a willynilly then by all means get after it!

IF you have the factory towing package, it will tow 6500lbs easy which is factory max. Look in the Towing forum and you will see guys hauling 20+ RVs, tractors, big trailers etc without issue when properly equipped.

That is tooooooo big of a question to answer in this thread. Go hit up the 2nd Gen forum and start looking around, or go to the Build threads. The guys and gals on here are awesome folks who usually list very detailed info about the trucks and what they use for equipment in their builds. So just go exploring! Before you post a question, do a quick search and I promise you more than likely it has been covered...
