    thanks guys!! and jordan... no need to worry. they are plenty strong. i opened it yesterday and climbed up and sat on the tire..... :D its plenty strong. those are 5/8 grade 8 bolts.......

    thanks! yea its hella stout.. dosnt sag at all when opened and when closed and driving dosnt shake at all...... i'm extremely happy with how its turned out.

    yea i wasnt to worried... i tend to overbuild everything espically on my truck! the upright supports off the bumper are 1/4 wall and the carrier is 3/16 wall with 5/8 grade 8 hardware.. i dont think its ever gonna go anywhere... :D

    thanks guys! actually the latch mechanisms are pretty easy to explain. they are the latches out of my factory tailgate :D i figured there was no easier way to have available replacements if something were to break.. the bushings are just standard 3" tall bushings that are used for everything from drivetrain mounts, to axle wrap bars to suspension link ends....
