I found the Bluetooth microphone wasn't working when I purchased my used Taco. I got a quote from the Toyota dealer for $700 plus labor to replace the rearview mirror where the microphone is located. Not paying that! I took apart the radio HU and made sure the the blue connector was secure and it was. I then took the rearview mirror down. I snapped the microphone cover off the top and saw the micophone connector wasn't soldered to the circuit board. I soldered the connector to the board, reassembled everything and works great now. Score one for home repairs!
