I am going to upgrade my rear end and go with progressive leafs and upgrade the shocks from my 5100's. What travel length do I need for a 2" lift and if I go to a 3"? Which shocks are better for a daily driver and absorbing normal driving bumps etc.?

Does fox make a shock for our trucks with 8" of travel w/ a res 2.0 or 2.5?

You should first get the leaf pack and check your numbers so you have a better idea of exactly what you need travel wise.

And the either shock will drive how you get them valved.

How do I measure everything once I have the progressive pack installed to determine what size travel length I need on the shocks?
