    Give it a good wash to see what sticks around. If you’re in an area that uses salt, lots of people like fluid film. I lived in upstate NY for a while and just finished prepping, scrubbing and re-coating the entire underside of my 2011 with rust converter and then a farm equipment finish. It turned out really well.

    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    Remember they rot from the inside out so a borescope is not a bad idea either.
