Alright folks I need a little help diagnosing my issue. Well at least a good direction to run. Till I can get some real jack stands lol realized the ones I used to put my SI on just won’t cut it.

Last week I noticed only turning my wheel to the right I get a loud creaking. Turning left is fine even after turning right I would expect to hear the noise taking the wheels back to center but it’s pretty quiet. Oh also it’s only coming from the drivers side.

the truck is a 2009 sport with 116k miles. From the looks of everything it’s all original suspension and she’s lived in the mn and canada so I’ll need a blow torch to get things apart.

i did jack up the truck pulled the wheel off and looked for wear or any play but as expected it was a waste of time without both sides jacked up and someone turning the wheel

If it happens stationary, the best would be to have someone turn the wheel while you listen outside or feel things

Well damn. With my 3 year old turning the wheel and an automotive stethoscope found It’s my lower ball joint. Guess I know what I’m doing on my 4 days off.
