Front License Plate Mount

Does anyone know of a good way to mount the front license plate without modifying the stock front bumper? In Colorado they are required and the dealership has already drilled holes in the front bumper for the license plate. My concern is, with no protection between the license plate and the bumper I am going to scratch it to shit.

I did a little searching on the forum, and couldn't find anything relevant. Any help is much appreciated!

 

Just screw it! If you have the plate on then you cant see the scratches anyhow.

I stuck them behind the actual license plate.

 

go to home depot and get some self sticking foam insulation. Run a line of it all the way around the outside edge of the plate then screw in. This is what I did when I still had a stock bumper and it never scratched.
