Wondering if we can add park assit to the front? Tap into the rear assit for the ones in the front. Use the display in the cluster as to know when u r close to the car in front when parking. And where can you get the sensors at?

Wouldn't it be easier to just learn how to drive the vehicle, and what it's 'boundries' are?

Practice with cardboard boxes or something. You should be able to pull in within 6" of something every time.

Yea but if you have a tight garage for instance and only have a few inches to play with, it would help.

Yes it would! But that's not what I'm asking. If I wanted to know if I get some cardboard boxes and practice would that help me, then you answer would help. It doesn't.

With someone to guide you, position the truck where you want to stop everytime.

Use a golf wiffle ball. Hang it from the ceiling dead center with your steering wheel, and where it touches your windshield.

You now have a target that gives you repeatable performance.

That was just one example. What about parking garages, etc. It would just be nice to have a sensor and if there's a way to do it, why not.

I'm sorry. I forget that some folks would rather spend money and create technology dependencies rather than actually learning how to use the product as it is.

Folks have driven big vehicles and successfully parked w/o whacking stuff since, you know, like decades. But they learn the visual cues of the boundries of the vehicle.

My apologies for suggesting something practical.

    I'll move along now. :hattip:

Correct. If parking or pulling in a tight parking space.
What I was thinking is this.
Take front right to the right rear and so on. This way when the sensor goes off you can tell where it is front he display from the dash. Wondering if the sensor could power 2 at a time?

Check aliexpress. They sell electromagnetic tape sensors that require no drilling. Just use adhesive tape inside the bumper.

Unless we are referring to parking garages....

Can we park in them without the current technology? Yes because we already are. Would adding parking assist or a front camera make it easier? Yes, would be a nice option.

You act like people don't know how to park. Obviously we can park without parking assist. Run along....

Close this thread as everyone thinks they are comedian's. Asked simple question as it states in the welcome thread, if you need help or advise ask. When you do this is what you get. If this is what goes around why come here?

If that previous link didn't work, search PZ362-00208-C0 at Aliexpress. Don't get so bent over silly jokes. I actually don't think it's such a bad idea and hope it works out for you.

Would you rather no one reply and the thread get lost? Or have people joke a bit and maybe someone else who doesn't know how to drive their vehicle chime in on how they made something work. Maybe we should just let the tread die and no one will see it and you will just have to learn how to drive like people did before becoming dependent on a computer saying you are about to hit something.

Now where did I say I DON'T know how to drive? I just ASKED if it could/ would work! That was all. Let the tread or do you mean thread die? Kill it. I asked for it to be closed before you commented. And thanks for you input.
