Front strut replacement option

First off I have tried the search and not found any info on switching the front strut spacer. I am currently running the zone 6" lift kit with the 3" front strut spacer and lift spindles. I am at the point I want to upgrade away from the spacer but was wondering if there were any options other than the expensive coil overs. I was hoping to reach out to the Tacomaworld followers and ask if anyone has upgraded to other options. I was hoping I could go to the billstein 5100 set at max height and OME 883's.

Are you running the front shock spacer that came with the Zone bracket lift? What shocks are you running now? Is the 3" spacer a pre-load spacer?

 

It’s the factory strut with the zone spacer.

 

Is the Zone spacer 4" tall? Looks like everything is dropped 4" and then the preload spacer provides the last 2" of lift. Likely unless you get custom coilovers made for your truck you will need to keep the Zone top spacers. You might be able to find some shocks that are made for another brand of bracket lift. You will need shocks that have an extended length that is roughly 4" longer than stock. The 5100's you mentioned will still be the stock length.

eta: For example I was running RCD Bilstein shocks made for their lift on my old Tundra that had a BDS lift on it.
