Not pointed out yet. But although these bolt to the frame. It is only one bolt with a C channel for strength. I wouldn’t be doing any pulling with the full weight of a vehicle on either action. I would use the welded loop thou. Just because of the chance to tear it off. Lol

Indeed, tie down point. That thing will become a projectile if used to recovery the truck with any serious load on it.

If looks is all you care about, go at it with a zip disc and be done. Nothing is offered OTS to replace it, you need to add the ARB recovery point if you want something "for looks".

Owner's Manual calls that driver side loop a tow hook or a tie down point. Looks like it can be used for either situation.
