Gladiator with huge tires

This may be heresy in this group, but I saw a lifted Gladiator in white yesterday with some ginormous tires, and it looked GOOD.

Well it still looked like a Lego truck, but pretty cool. The big tires and lift make the proportions look much better.

They were huge tires, might be 42 inch or so. With red offset aluminum wheels. (Sorry I was in traffic, couldn't get a pic.)

Anyway that's all I have to say. I'm sure it would be completely impractical for anything except extreme offroading, and expensive.

I really like Gladiators. Too bad you can't get one with Hemi! It's also too bad that the stripper model is $40K.

 

They are offering big discounts here. They are about as rare as a Ford Ranger.

 

That thing must be quick with all those stickers powering it up and no dirt to create drag

 

I actually considered one but their was one big issue that I couldn’t ignore. It’s manufactured by FCA

A great mod is to buy a Gladiator, remove the front axle, install it on your Tacoma, then discard the rest of the Gladiator.

 

Quite a few of them up here in the High Desert with 42" tires and customized with Desert pinstripes and rock scrapes

 

If I had a Jeep Gladiator it would have ....

Atlas t/case

Mopar Hellephant 7.0L 1k hp crate engine

The jeep gladiator. It’s for that one friend who keeps trying to rock a fanny pack, even though you’ve already proven to him that it’s lame and makes him look like a Nancy Campbell.

you could give it whatever stupid name you want. The jeep “merciless marauder” and put 80” tires on it, and it would become 10 times dumber. Weird how that science works.

Sorry but after my last Jeep Experience with my 2018 JL Wrangler I’ll never own another JEEP again. They suck. Great Off-Road when they work but for everything else they suck.
